There are tough issues facing the home and family today. How can we salvage the social structure of the American Family?

The Emotional Destruction of Drug Abuse

Drug abuse poses a major health problems and social dangers. Of all the problems in American life today, “drug abuse” is among the most disturbing. Young and old alike are being destroyed daily, and the majority of the families are being torn apart by broken hearts. Drug addicts, dealers, prostitutes, and all the people involved in related crimes have created a race of their own. They have no social barriers, no health standards, and no concern for anything or anyone, except getting the money they need to support their addiction(s). Parents and family members plead and beg for them to stop, but to no avail; parents, spouses, and families of those who are involved in drugs, usually end up more beaten and in worse health than the addict. Counselors give all kinds of different advice to parents and families wondering how to stop the nightmare. The family member who is involved with drugs also involves the whole family…they all become victims. The entire household is tormented with worry, confrontations, arguments, and financial hardships that often result from squandering money on drugs. Many parents end up feeling guilty over the drug problems their children are involved in, and often end up suffering as much as their children. There is an answer for those lives that have been tormented by the effects of drugs and violence. It is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 kjv).

You can receive a new life in Gods’ Son!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ offers Hope, Real Answers, and Lasting Solutions to those whose lives have been hurt and destroyed by the effects of drug and alcohol addiction, violence, incest, rape, physical abuse and neglect.
